The Good Work
March has been quite the month for FWAA so far! It is a shining example of the good work our members do each and every day in this wonderful industry of ours.
We started the month strong with our annual UGM Charity Bowling Tournament, presented by Earthworks. With the support of our members, FWAA will be able to give Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County over $20,000! This event was well-attended, and we are grateful for everyone’s support. You can get all the details of this event here: View Link.
We look forward to the same support from our members as we prepare for our newest fundraising event, the FWAA Military Veterans Charity Golf Tournament, presented by Texas Southwest Floors. Interested in playing or sponsoring the event, click here: View Link.
After that, Texas had a primary election with unexpected turns for our supported candidates. Two of our races are going to runoff elections; Congressional District 12 will position FWAA candidate Craig Goldman against John O’Shea to take Kay Granger’s seat, while Texas State Representative Stephanie Klick will be going up against David Lowe. These are two very tight races we’ll be watching very carefully. Two FWAA-supported candidates, Glenn Rogers (Texas State Rep) and Wendy Burgess (Tarrant County Tax Assessor), lost to their opponents. There are many more races to watch this year during election season, and you can get all the details here: View Link. We’ll also be sending member updates, so watch for our emails!
As we move into March, don’t forget about FWAA’s exceptional career development and educational programs, designed exclusively for multifamily professionals! Our NAAEI Credentials kick off on March 19th! You can view all upcoming courses and programs by clicking here: View LInk.
These are incredible examples of members supporting members, our community, and the industry—keep up the good work, FWAA members!
