About

Our Mission

The Fort Worth Apartment Association inspires those we represent with a commitment to award-winning education curricula, exemplary public advocacy initiatives, effective communication mediums and a diverse network of forums for business exchange – each designed to define our marketplace.

Our Leadership

Our volunteer leaders make all the difference.

The Fort Worth Apartment Association (FWAA) thrives thanks to the dedication of its volunteer leaders. Established in 1967, FWAA is a not-for-profit trade association focused on supporting the business interests of multi-housing owners, property managers, and vendor partners throughout a nine-county region in North-Central Texas, including Erath, Hood, Jack, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise counties.

As an independent 501(c)(6) organization, FWAA is closely aligned with the Texas Apartment Association in Austin, TX, and the National Apartment Association in Alexandria, VA. Representing over 1,800 members, FWAA advocates for those who own, manage, and supply services to more than 250,000 apartment homes.

Leadership

FWAA‘s leadership team consists of seven officers and 17 directors, all elected annually by its members to serve the communities represented. Together with program chairs and staff, this dedicated team oversees every aspect of the Association’s operations, ensuring its success and continued growth.
