FWAA is committed to helping members achieve greater success through these resources and effective communication platforms.
FWAA has been a pioneer in the multifamily industry, creating groundbreaking programs such as the Business Exchange, Leadership Lyceum, and the innovative Maintenance Mania judging software. These initiatives, developed right here at FWAA, have set industry standards and continue to provide invaluable resources for members. Local Advocacy
FWAA represents over 1,800 members and more than 250,000 units across a diverse nine-county region in north-central Texas, including Tarrant, Jack, Wise, Palo Pinto, Parker, Erath, Hood, Somervell, and Johnson counties. With 104 municipalities, 61 school districts, six college systems, and six special impact districts within these counties, FWAA is dedicated to advocating for and supporting its members in every corner of the region. Whether in large urban centers or smaller communities, FWAA remains committed to ensuring that all members benefit from comprehensive advocacy and resources tailored to their needs.

State and National
FWAA advocates strongly for local communities, and membership also provides access to the full resources of the Texas Apartment Association (TAA) and the National Apartment Association (NAA). These organizations are dedicated to serving their members and protecting business interests, with a focus on improving the bottom line. By joining FWAA, members automatically gain membership in both TAA and NAA. With access to their websites, members can explore the wide range of services and resources available to them.

PAC
FWAA’s Political Action Committee offers individuals involved in the multi-housing industry a way to contribute financial support to state and local candidates for public office, as well as to support or oppose measures in public referendums. Through various fundraisers hosted by FWAA, funds are distributed to TAA and NAA through “fair share” contributions, with the remainder used to support political campaigns of candidates who advocate for the industry’s interests.
