Pickleball With a Purpose: FWAA Hits the Courts for Industry Advocacy
The FWAA Pickleball Tournament served up more than just fun and friendly competition—it made a powerful statement for advocacy in the multifamily industry. Held on May 13, 2025, at Chicken N’ Pickle in Grapevine, this high-energy event brought together 86 players and welcomed 166 spectators, all rallying behind a single cause: raising vital funds for the NAA Political Action Committee (PAC).
This year’s tournament wasn’t just about winning on the court—it was about winning in Washington. As an official NAA PAC Fundraiser, the event raised $13,975 to support advocacy efforts at the national level. These funds help the NAA PAC fight against burdensome legislation, excessive fees, and regulatory overreach that can slow down business operations and drain resources from apartment professionals like you.
From city ordinances to Congressional policies, the challenges facing our industry are real—and growing. That’s why PACs matter. They give our industry a voice and a seat at the table when decisions are made. And thanks to the overwhelming support at this tournament, our voice is now even louder.
A Night to Remember
Guests were treated to an evening of food, drinks, laughs, and lively competition. The courts were buzzing with action as teams battled it out bracket-style, while spectators enjoyed cold beverages, great food, and prime courtside views.
