When it comes to giving back, the Fort Worth Apartment Association (FWAA) never settles for the minimum—and our upcoming Spring Fling Golf Tournament is proof that our members are setting the bar high once again. This year’s event will benefit the PTSD Foundation of DFW, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing hope and healing to veterans and their families battling combat-related PTSD.

Why This Matters
Last year alone, FWAA members helped raise over $35,000 for the PTSD Foundation of DFW. Thanks to your generosity, the Foundation was able to:
- Provide nearly 600 one-on-one sessions with veterans in need of support
- Enroll 10 veterans into Camp Hope, a life-changing recovery program
- Hire a full-time female veteran coordinator to assist women suffering from trauma
This kind of real, tangible impact is what happens when our members step up—and it’s something we should all be incredibly proud of.

Since its start in 2005, the PTSD Foundation of America has grown into a nationwide support network with a mission to reduce veteran suicide and provide holistic care for those suffering from combat-related PTSD. Their flagship facility, Camp Hope, offers interim housing, peer-to-peer support, crisis intervention, and more. With over 16,000 veterans and families served, this organization is making a difference—and FWAA is honored to be part of that mission.
