Why keeping your member compass updated is important!
When was the last time your member compass was updated? When our association doesn’t know who is working for the company, we send out invites and correspondence to the wrong people—that doesn’t help anybody! Plus, you could miss out on legal changes, free courses and education for your teams, billing invoices, and our exclusive events and parties! Making sure the contacts we operate with is important to the fluidity of your membership. Our members use the portal daily to find services, contacts, and property information. You could be missing out on new business and services by not having your membership profile updated for anyone to find you.
Updating your company profile information is just as important as updating your personal information. On the company side of your profile, you can post links to your websites and social media accounts, specials you are running, promotions you offer, and so much more! We allow you to have your company motto, core values, or a company statement on there with your logo. You can update headshots, add or remove employees’ access to the company, and change it as often as you want. The search bar on our home page is an excellent tool for clients to find you – but you have to make sure you are using keywords to filter your business into the right areas. What is your area of expertise, and does anyone know that?
As a final reminder – the Fort Worth Apartment Association renews every membership in January of each year, and invoices were sent out to everyone in your membership profile; not to mention, we’ve sent out several reminders since. If you haven’t paid your membership dues yet, your account is in jeopardy of being shut off this month. So, if you haven’t renewed your membership yet for the 2024 year, please contact us. And please make sure you are getting your personal and company portals updated today!
