Once again, FWAA members showed up in force at Bear Creek Golf Club for our Spring Fling PAC Golf Tournament, presented by T-Rock Contracting! One of the basic foundations of this association is our commitment to advocacy initiatives—it’s why FWAA was founded in the first place!
If you didn’t know, the money we raise for our PAC goes directly to the fighting lines of political campaigns. By supporting candidates who support our industry, we are less likely to avoid being thrown into the chaos of city and government fees and taxes that come right off your business’s bottom line. Every dollar a city or government takes from an apartment property is a dollar that can’t be spent on improvements, amenities, or repairs. Fees and taxes are a lose-lose for everyone involved, especially the government. So, by supporting our PAC, you are supporting your own success!
Thanks to all the sponsors and players who made this event possible, starting with our title sponsor, T-Rock Construction! With your support, we were able to raise $39,600 for PAC! There were 36 golf teams in attendance, along with 24 persons purchasing a Party Pass to walk around and have a good time at the tournament!
