It’s official—the final countdown for 2024 is here! This season brings a whirlwind of activity. From meetings to holiday prep, parties, and time with family, everything seems to move at breakneck speed. As the pages fly off the calendar, I hope that you get a chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate the blessings of this past year with grateful hearts.
One of those blessings is the amazing people who make up our Association. Time and again, our members step up to support each other and our community. The relationships we build here are as solid as they come.
This year has been full of opportunities to make lasting connections. The recent Trade Show and Education Conference and multiple learning opportunities throughout the year help to keep everyone at the very top of their game. Great golf tournaments with perfect weather and another really fun evening playing pickleball raised a lot of money to support the good things your Association is doing to grow and protect our industry.
Speaking of protecting our industry, we’re thrilled to report that all the local candidates endorsed by FWAA won their seats in the recent election—great news for our multifamily sector and the residents we serve!
Last week, FWAA hosted its Annual Christmas Celebration and Toy Drive, which was presented by Maintenance Supply Solutions! This year, we went all out with a “Merry Movie Christmas Party” theme. Thank you to everyone who got involved by donating cash or toys—we’re still taking donations; visit www.livefw.org/cec for details on how to make a difference. Last year’s event helped provide Christmas for over a thousand children in our community who may not have received a gift. This year will be even bigger, and you can help!
2024 was also the year we launched our new website. Please check it out for exciting sponsorship opportunities and all the updates you need! We would love to hear what you think. Your support and involvement play a huge part in making our incredible programs and events successful.
I have been incredibly honored to serve as your 2024 President and look ahead to 2025 with great confidence and hope—we’re in excellent hands.
Our dedicated Board of Directors, countless volunteers, and fantastic FWAA staff work tirelessly to support Fort Worth and our nine counties. With just a couple more weeks to go, I can’t wait to see where 2025 takes us!
