As most families are preparing to send their children back to school so is AATC…gearing up to deliver incredible NAAEI Credentials Programs that are for our members! As most of you may or may not know, the AATC building has sold which has directed us to partner with Texas Star Golf Course in Hurst for all of our education programs. We are excited about this joint venture, and we hope you will be too!
NAAEI Credentials Programs are the backbone of our industry from front-of-the-house leasing, to back-of-the-house management, to in-the-apartment maintenance, and above-the-house supervisor programs.
We kick of 2021 with CALP / Certified Apartment Leasing Professional. Lissi Daniels, Sales Director for Madera will be the program facilitator for the entire program. The dates for CALP are August 24,25, 31, and September 1st. This program is not only applicable for new leasing professionals but for the seasoned one as well who is looking to earn this coveted credential. You’ll learn about using technology to generate traffic, measuring, and managing your community’s reputation, researching the competition, and building relationships with competitors to compiling comprehensive market analysis, and much, much, more. September kicks off our two additional NAA EI Credential programs: CAPS/Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor AND CAMT/Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician.
CAPS kicks off September 9 at Texas Star Golf Course with Sue Weston. Sue is considered THE Mentor of the apartment industry credential programs. Not only does Sue have her CAM, CAPS, but she is also part of the Senior Faculty with NAAEI. The dates for CAPS are September 9, 14, 16, and 27. A few of the topics you’ll learn about are: Achieving ethical excellence, stakeholder relationships, property acquisitions and dispositions, market and financial analysis, investment strategies, talent development, and more.
CAMT/Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician…OF COURSE, we save the BEST for Last! Seriously, if we didn’t have our maintenance team members who knows where we would be! Join Jimmy McClung, ARM, CAMT on September 21,22,23 and 28,29,30. We will host this outstanding group of team members at Texas Star. This course is not just for new entry-level employees but for your assistant leads as well. Most of this program is hands-on. You’ll learn about: electrical/plumbing/HVAC/mechanical/appliance/construction/ and lock and key services and repairs, maintenance safety, fair housing for the service team, environmental responsibilities, and regulatory compliance, along with communication skills. This program covers everything your service team will encounter day-to-day.
