How to Promote Your Business During Storm Season  

This spring, the weather across the nation has proven to be some of the worst we have seen in recent history. The United States has documented that there have already been over 540 tornadoes this year – leaving the national average of 379 (based on a decade of total averages) in the literal dust. Out of those totals, Texas is already trying to win the race with 99 tornadoes this year—which is also more than the last decade has seen in total. These tornadoes inevitably come with flash flooding, hail, high winds, and power outages. Unfortunately, with extreme weather comes the need for recovery, repair, and renovation; is this your line of business? If so, are you ready to help our owners/operators get their units back to 100%? As an FWAA supplier member, you can rest easy knowing that FWAA specializes in ensuring you have all the tools necessary to optimize your ability to serve owners/operators and their properties. 

Did you know you can easily advertise discounts and specials on our website? You can also update your portal information anytime to make your current coupons available to our members. You can even implement a unique coupon code for FWAA members only and put that in your company bio information! Taking advantage of these features means when there are storms in our area, and a manager needs a supplier quickly, they can go to the online member directory at www.aatcnet.org to search for what they need. As long as you have that keyword listed as an area of expertise or somewhere in your bio, they will see you in that search. If you have a coupon or discount listed alongside your contact information, it will help build your business further as word of mouth gets around to their colleagues and friends that you helped in a crunch!   

To take advantage of these online directory features, log in to your Member Compass and click the COMPANY tab to access your business profile. Once there, complete the form; be as detailed as possible! Ensure you are utilizing the supplier categories with what you want to appear for a search. The bottom of that page gives an organization overview box where you can list discount codes, coupons, specials you are currently running, and other things you want your customers to know! As always, you can reach out to me for assistance—I’m happy to help!
